Our menu changes daily to provide our customers with a great variety of delicious and healthy choices. We use only the finest ingredients when preparing food, incorporating fresh herbs and marinades to create tasty and nutritious dishes.

Homemade sweets are our speciality, from simple apple tarts to cheesecakes with a difference, we pride ourselves on crumbling the strongest of wills!

Healthy eating does not have to mean bland, boring food. Our aim is not only to tantalise your taste buds, but to indulge your every sense as you relax in the warm and friendly atmosphere of our restaurant.

Centrally located just off the A28 main Armagh/Newry road, and within walking distance of the beautiful Gosford Forest Park, the Old Courthouse is fully wheelchair accessible and is ideal for function hire.

Glen Baird, the Head Chef at the Courtrooms.

Glen Baird is a young enterprising chef. He has been head chef with the Courtrooms Restaurant since it opened in 2000. He is a past student of Newry Catering College where he obtained qualifications in culinary arts & supervisory management.

He has competed at competition level and entered in 'Chef Ireland'. He attended a course with the Michelin Chef, Michael Deane. He believes in using fresh herbs and local produce to create dishes that are full of flavour.
